Craig's deployment to Iraq
Hi Family,
Tina's husband Craig was deployed to Iraq this past week. He was supposed to leave on the 9th. In fact, that day, he and his family had their teary good-byes, then flights were changed due to a sand storm in Kuwait or wherever his landing point is in Iraq. Anywhoo, he left on the 11th from Tacoma, WA. Tina saw his plane fly over Puget Sound from her office window.
She sent me some pictures today that are attached. The woman in the wheel chair is Craig's mother who came to stay with them for awhile before he left. Also there are some pictures on facebook.
His little family is really missing him right now. Makes my heart ache just thinking about how hard it must be for them. Please include them in your prayers.
He sent me his mailing address before he left so if any of you want it, just let me know.
Love,
Joanne

2009 Reunion Update
Hi Everyone,
I was talking to Jimmy last week and we decided we would throw a date out to everyone for another family reunion. This time we will make it here in the valley. Here's the info:
Saturday, November 14, 2009
McCormick Ranch Train Park
11:00 a.m.
Potluck
We wanted to have it before we get too busy with the holidays and also when it's not boiling hot here. Soooo, if you already have that weekend scheduled and really want to attend, we could move it to the following weekend, the 21st. After that is Thanksgiving weekend and before the 14th is kind of if-y as far as the weather.
If you've never been there, this park has a train that runs through part of the park. There is a small fee to ride it. Also a free standing caboose which sells a small menu of food and beverage items. There's also a playground area.
Please let me know if you will be able to attend. Also please let other family members know since I don't have everyone's e-mail address.
One more thing.....we posted this info on our Amos site/page (whatever you call it) on facebook.
Love, Joanne
